Dogues de Bordeaux are loyal to their loved ones, but distrustful of strangers. The Dogue de Bordeaux is an energetic, affectionate and cheerful dog who always seems to be wagging his tail. Sociable and athletic, these fearless and lively dogs are eager to please. They are intelligent enough to understand what you want and therefore tend to be easy to train and respond well to light obedience training. The Dogue de Bordeaux loves people, enjoys company, and needs rules and restrictions on what they are allowed to do.
